Given the colours of the jersey, I'm pretty sure it was the New York Giants that were meant, and not the San Francisco ones, but still...
Oh, did anyone else hear that the voice of Captain Murphy on Sealab 2021 died? I read that on rec.arts.tv.mst3k.misc, I think...
EDIT: Well. they just had a musicless set of slates about Harry Goz's death in the middle of Adult Swim.. so I'm guessing it's really true. *moment of silence, just like for Johnny Cash* Oh.. and they're showing "All that Jazz"... which is one of the best episodes. *snif*
Random trivia: when we bought my car Eponyma, she had a license plate holder which said "[top] Hummmm baby [bottom] San Francisco Giants". Not being a big baseball fan, I took it off. My memory is telling me that I gave it to Sarah Stanek, someone I went to high school with who was a big Giants fan, but since we didn't buy my car until three months after graduation and I was no longer in contact with most of the people I'd known in high school, I'm not sure that that makes any sense. Yet there's really no one else it could have gone to...
