(spot the Spaceballs reference)
I have a couple of CDs which half.com's database doesn't recognize, so I can't sell them that way. I'm willing to give/trade them away. The links are to my site for 30-second, 64kb mp3 samples of a few of the tracks, if you have no clue what they sound like. Mostly a kind of... mellowish... electronicish.. thing...er... with vocals in the case of Dali's Car... er... just listen, ok? The files aren't that big (~250k apiece). If you're interested, just email my livejournal address.
Mediaform, "Beauty Reports".
Beauty Report Three
Beauty Report Seven
Beauty Report Eight
Beauty Report Nine
Dali's Car, "The Waking Hour". This is a mid-80s Peter Murphy semi-solo thing.
Artemis
His Box
Moonlife
(aside... oh, it's still so good to see "deflashing to memory" rather than "deflashing to disk" in GoldWave, the sound editor with which I clip/resample mp3s and occasionally make new ones "the hard way" (i.e. live-time recording of playing CD) when my drive doesn't seem to be able to handle the disc via digital extraction. I know half a gig of memory ain't much these days, but it still feels all fuzzy inside.)
I have also a few books which I am doubting will ever sell, though I do have them listed:
The Tao of Physics
Moonflower: Erotic Dreaming with the Goddess
Werewolf: the Apocalypse Interestingly enough, this one sold on half.com just today.
One more which isn't listed yet, because I don't expect to fetch any money for it either: Here and Now: an Approach to Writing through Perception, which seems basically to be a book of exercises to improve one's writing (fiction or non) through exercises in observation.. or something. Reeks of the late 60s when it was written. Probably a good laugh if not actually useful. Picked it up for free as a library discard, myself, and never read it.
gremliness, for some reason I specifically thought of you (besides the fact that you're working on being a professional writer), so you'd have not only first, but ... interruptive.. dibs if you decide you'd like to have it.
Again... a few bucks is good for any book or CD above (I have paypal, or would accept cash), or some kind of trade: I like glitter and shiny and glow in the dark and things I can re-use, and tea!. I am also willing to give away totally for free, although I like to feel that I got back the value of the postage in some way, if possible. (if not possible.. then I'm still ok. getting things off my desk is often valuable enough. ^_^)
