Dear gods, was I ever dreaming and dreaming and dreaming last night. Or I guess I should say, this afternoon - I got to sleep around 5 am and woke up at about 3:30 pm after a bunch of waking up and going back to sleep for several hours, something which tends to lead to lots of vivid, strange dreams, as I alternate between this world and that one. I was dreaming about sex, and a movie about sex and Nazis (!), and going to Disneyland, and smoking weed, and the sun being up all day such that at 6 am it was approaching the western horizon (I was seeing this through my bedroom window, which looks west - not that the sun doing that would make any sense even if I were on the North pole at the summer solstice!), and being in a McDonalds where they wouldn't hold my bags behind the counter since Sept 11? "No, we've never done that", and being shot at, and driving around a Kitchener that totally didn't look like the Kitchener I know, and some very mature-looking 5th-grader (he looked like a junior or senior in high school) who I apparently thought was cute, and told him so when he asked.

*shakes head* For some reason I really want to play video games now.

i know it's unlikely that i'll get any better myself if i'm not around it but it just hurts so much to be around so many better people all the time. i can't take it. i can't stand to watch. i can't stand the feelings of inferiority. i can't stand the nagging screaming that i'm trying too hard to be something i'm not.
