On that note, it appears that a new Hitchhiker's radio series will begin airing on BBC4 Radio 4 in September. (BBC Radio is available streaming online, by the way. So you have no excuse not to listen.)

car naming

My car appears to be named Dragonfly.

Somehow I wasn't expecting a normal English word, but I guess that's a good sign, because something that I was expecting stands a better chance of having been made up.

I read the word in some totally other context in someone's post, and I "heard "the "perk!" from my car sitting outside my bedroom window. So there you have it.

I'm not sure whether the, er, coincidence with the arrival of the plates is in fact a coincidence or not.
