devafall and tiggrrl since I know you folks bought a car in the relatively recent past, but anyone else with practical experience in getting a car licensed in CA is welcome to answer...
How long did it take for you to get the registration and plates? The dealership told me it might take "up to three months" and it's now been two. Do you know of any way to check on the progress of the registration, whether it's in fact in the queue somewhere and not been totally missed?
