computerish stuff
Feb. 4th, 2005 10:16 pmOh yeah... six for six on normal boots since replacing the power supply. This is well outside of "tolerance" for the one that had become increasingly flaky (where it was almost certaint it would perform its "no boot" trick at least once, and one one occasion twice). I think the correct diagnosis was made and a winner is me. Only $20 to fix, too. Woo!

"double your torture"
Feb. 4th, 2005 10:52 pmDoes the phrase "double your torture, double your fun" ring any bells with anyone else? I googled but I only found 5 results, none of which seem right. My memory is that it was a scene from a TV show and had something to do with torturing twins (?). While this was said, the torturer (perhaps a mad scientist type?) was moving the arms and legs of one of them, or a representation thereof, or something. The voice is pretty clear in my head but not actually anchoring to anything. Any ideas?
