Dec. 21st, 2005 10:30 amOn this Solstice day I offer the following song from the "Christmas" episode of Fraggle Rock, "The Bells of Fraggle Rock". I think maybe they were just trying to be secular by having the Fraggles celebrate the Winter Solstice (although there are brief mentions in the "Doc" segments of various cultures' holiday traditions), but I mean really. There's an episode where they have a moon ceremony, for crying out loud. If it's not pagan by intent, it's pagan by mistake. *chuckles* Anyway--
There's a rhythm.
There's a rising.
There's a dream of green that needs to wake,
A password,
And a promise,
That the earth will never ever break.
It's coming,
Feel it humming,
In the hearts we share with rock and sky so raise your voices high. . .
There's a rhythm.
There's a rising.
There's a dream of green that needs to wake,
A password,
And a promise,
That the earth will never ever break.
It's coming,
Feel it humming,
In the hearts we share with rock and sky so raise your voices high. . .
There's a rhythm.
There's a rising.
There's a dream of green that needs to wake,
A password,
And a promise,
That the earth will never ever break.
It's coming,
Feel it humming,
