Feb. 7th, 2006 10:24 amI notice that some people selected "the hell is surf music?" in the poll. The best-known surf band is (was), of course, the Beach Boys. You know, "Surfin' USA"? "Good Vibrations"? "California Girls"? Well, this particular sub-genre of music is alive and well and it's not only a bunch of crazy Californians (or Australians, or anywhere else you might think of when you think "surfing") that make it. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Feb. 7th, 2006 01:42 pmI just purchased what will likely be the only one-way plane ticket in my life (unless enotsola and I do in fact wind up moving to BC someday). I feel good. (Sunny 22/72-degree weather doesn't hurt, either.)
