For gods' sake, please don't do whatever css-positioning or whatever thing is making this happen when I have my font size cranked up (which is 99% of the time, unless I absolutely need your site for some business transaction). I know that it's impossible to code for all possible extremes and any layout is breakable by some condition or other, but srsly, crap like this shouldn't be allowed to happen: ( kinda big picture )

(In other words, don't try to tell me how to use my browser, whether expressed or implied.)

ETA: "div position = absolute" in px units is bad mmmkay?

Alicia is currently scheming about getting the Internet Lab student, whose birthday it is, down here for cake and card under false pretenses.

What the fuck is wrong with "we got you a cake. Happy birthday"? Why the cloak and dagger? I really will never understand why this kind of setup is thought to be "fun".

Does anyone know what's broken about OKCupid tests that they always report "you scored higher than 99% of other people" on every axis in every test? At least, that's what I always see, and robin_greenwood just posted some quiz results that show the same phenomenon.
