Nov. 6th, 2012 01:51 pmKind of astonished at the length of lines I've been seeing in some polling place photos. I just walked right up to one of the two empty stations (out of three available, plus one electronic voting machine for some reason) at my polling place. I don't know whether it's good or bad - I mean, long lines are surely a pain in the ass, but at least it means people are actually getting out and voting, right? (It may also be the case that my district has a large number of vote-by-mail voters, or something. My mother is a permanent vote-by-mail.)
