An Apple data-tape cassette has mysteriously appeared in my cabinet. It says "120 m" but I'm guessing that's the length and that it is in fact 8mm wide (although I couldn't say for sure). We do not now, nor have we ever (to my knowledge) had any Macs with tape drives on them here in the lab, or indeed anywhere on campus.

We used to do audio duplication for language classes by taking sackfuls of blanks and returning copies to them. We somehow built up tons of extra blanks which our student employees were sorting through today. Therefore, the only thing I can suppose is that this was found among the normal audio cassettes, having got there in the first place by someone radically misunderstanding what sort of tape they were supposed to supply.

It's new and sealed. Does anyone out there have any use for such a thing? "Free to good home", I suppose!

My brain is not working this morning. While I saw this post first last night, this morning when seeing it my brain went, "Apple data casserole? what?" I think I need breakfast.
