I'm really enjoying the wireless mouse I bought today. It has several immediately apparent advantages over my corded mouse:
1. The cord is not bonking into things like the little bottle of moisturizer and tube of lip balm that sit on my desk (usually knocking them over).
2. I can easily switch mousing to my left hand if I feel like it.
3. I can put the mouse on a book or something in my lap, which means I can use it with my arm nearly in rest position; far more ergonomic than having to reach out across the desk for it.
4. Being able to put it in my lap means that my mouse hand is closer to my body heat, and I can even cover it with the other hand if I want to, thus avoiding one of the banes of wintertime for me: frozenmousehanditis.
Yay!
