Can anyone point me to one of those "enter your username, we take seven of your icons and overlay them with rainbow colours" "is love" generators? I find them silly but damned if I can't find one when I actually want one.
I cannot find a generator beyond the simple one that does the little rainbow bars. But there are a bunch of communities that make colorbars. _colorbarlove_ and ___islove both take requests. And at ___islove people had actually responded to the requests with some really spunky bars.
Eh, I could make my own if I wanted to go to that much trouble. I know there are generators for it because I've played with them before, but like you, all I could find was plain "bar" ones when I tried to Google. Ah well, thanks.
There's one over at http://pseudomonas.livejournal.com/2006/01/03/ I think they're called "iconlove" or something like that (came up in a quick search). Just enter your username into the "who else is love" field and it randomly selects from your icons. I'm not sure there's a quick way to tell it which icons you want to use.
Aha! That was even the user that the person I was reminded of the idea by had said. But when I looked at their journal I didn't see it and certainly wasn't prepared to trawl back two years (now that I see the date) to find it. Thank you!!
Edit: I hadn't thought to try "iconlove" as a search term. Here I was trying fancy stuff like "is love" generator banner icons and it just wasn't getting me anywhere.
