Dear Book Donor:

A college library doesn't have a lot of use for children's books.

kthxbye.

What about all the early childhood education students who need to use them? (I'm serious, our University library's Currirculum Resources Collection has a range of children's books for study purposes. Also, one of my friends did her Honours thesis on children's literature.)

Hmm... pass them on to a children's library or local library or me? :)

I was semi-serious. I would happily take We Are All in the Dumps with Jack and Guy (Maurice Sendak), Richard Scarry's Bedtime Stories, Baby Farm Animals and The Rand McNally Book of Favorite Animal Stories.

Hey, we gotta get started on Kitten's library, right?

Ah, but all the Art History and Communications Design students NEED them. Maurice Sendak, Eric Carle, Arthur Rackham, et al are teh 733t.
