(this is partly to help me remember to fill it when I get home.)
Yesterday my windshield washer tank ran out of fluid. Trivial, you say? Certainly. But what has been puzzling me for months is that that was the original tank of fluid. As in, the one that was in the car when I bought it a year and four months ago. How big must the tank be that it can last sixteen months?? Is it a Tardis? Should I expect Tom Baker to leap out of my car's engine compartment at any moment?
(shouldn't I know how big it is - at least on the outside - by looking at it? you can't. it's down inside the fender wall under some other stuff and all you can see is the fill-spout.)
