...when people are in close proximity to someone who is without fear or at least one who engages the world as if there was nothing to fear, they get curious about what it takes to be sans fear.
So to answer the question: make someone a little less fearful, hungry, lonely or scared.
You reduce the pool of available destructive energy available to those who would warp the world imagination to their own end...even it is only to re enforce their own castles of fear.
