The weekend before last, Gems Galore was having some kind of new-ownership sale were a lot of stuff was 30% off, so I planned to come back and pick up some stuff the following week. The sale wasn't on anymore, so I had about 3x worth the amount of money I could spend in stuff in my basket, and whittling down was needed. What I ended up with, going by the "which ones of these are the priorities of the I'm Supposed to Have This list" method, was a twinned amethyst crystal, some kind of cluster of something which is gold-treated or something and has a dark purple/pink/yellow/blue flash in it ("dark faerie fire", it makes me think), a chunk of tumbled green fluorite, a small piece of tumbled sugilite, a piece of tumbled bloodstone, and a small flat cluster of small crystals of clear quartz. I knew why I was picking the amethyst (twinned crystals = "soulmate" crystals + violet = duh) and the bloodstone (supposed to "purify" the blood, which has some different meanings for me than it might for most people). I had to look up possible uses for the sugilite and fluorite (although I knew basicially that the one pops up a lot in crystal-spiritual-healing whatever contexts, and fluorite is mental/intellectual):

It does so by helping to neutralize persistent and unwanted thought patterns so that the mind, instead of keeping itself distracted by constant activity, much of which is resistance to these undesired thoughts, can be at peace." Of course they don't describe green specifically (wtf "sometimes in green and pink"? the most common fluorite I see besides purple is green, or purple and green combined) but to me green says Heart.
"Sugilite (also known as luvulite and royal lazel), an opaque purple-to-magenta stone, relates to the discovery and release of the beliefs which inhibit spontaneous mental and physical health. Sugilite helps us to see the beliefs ("I always resent people like that;" "There's just so much I'm capable of doing") that can create emotional limitation and physical imbalance, and helps to break up those beliefs on the mental plane, thus stopping them from continuing to send limiting messages to the body."
