Looking over all the sites I bookmarked for job postings, there's two st SJSU closing next Tuesday, another the following Tuesday, and one that was supposed to have closed on October 11th but which is still up with "later applications may be considered a the university's discretion" (which is on all the postings); one at SJCC whose initial review was supposed to have been in August but is still up with "open until filled"; two at Stanford posted last week and one from late September (dubious "freshness", but one would hope Stanford's HR would be on the ball enough to take down filled postings?), one at Ohlone College closing next Thursday, and one at UCSC whose initial review was supposed to have been October 9th (again dubious freshness, but might be worth a shot). Ten jobs at once. Eep. Eight of them are even specifically library positions, and a couple of those are even accessions/acquisitions/standing orders/serials-type duties, which match most closely with what I did at De Anza. One is a testing coordinator, but (like at De Anza) it's a job attached to the library department. The last is only somewhat of a stretch, being a lower-level clerical support position rather than a real "administrative assistant" (read: it doesn't require the level of office experience and business education typically needed for that title).

Wowsers. Better get on it, I guess. (Still have to read through the whole voter's guide, too. Ugh.)

Good luck with this. I know you weren't able to find anything at all in the Kitchner-Waterloo area, and this looks much more promising.
