in a quandary

Despite all my rantings to the contrary I am actually seriously considering taking the OML job, for a variety of reasons which I don't care to ramble on about at length at the moment. But I feel like I am too close to the situation to see clearly. I don't know what I should do. It occurs to me that just about everything that I said I wanted for the past year or more, I have gotten -- but it turned out that not everything I thought I wanted was actually the best course of action ("careful what you ask for, you might get it"). I feel like I am in such a place now. I want different things for different reasons, but I don't seem to be able to "see" far enough to know which is really the right one, in terms of placing me better for how things will turn out in the end. Would anyone out there feel comfortable doing a probability-web scan, or a runecasting, or a tarot reading or anything?

Sure, thanks. I'm not expecting you to "get me the answer" - just hopefully, someone other than myself will be able to impartially get some tidbit or hint, that I may overlook or second-guess or go "augh! never happen!" to because of my emotional involvement, that will help me perceive the correct course of action.

I'm afraid I've never gotten consistent results over the internet, reliable information at long distances, or anything at all with those when trying do so for someone I haven't physically met. :-/

I'm pretty sure I'd offer to do so if I had a chance of getting any sort of usable/dependable result.
