When I say that I want people to find me attractive, I don't mean scary guys who ask me out to dinner just because I found their wallet and held it for them to come pick up rather than sending it to Security.
Perhaps in this day and age such an act of finding and returning is a lost trait so maybe the guy was just extending an equally polite gesture of gratitude..?
