Starlight,
I have no idea how old you are, but the next time you explain something cool and funny to people around you and they have no idea what you are talking about, look for cooler...or at least older friends. :)

Isn't it nice when the internet can help us remember we aren't crazy?
I went through something similar in regards to an old H.R. Puffenstuff episode I barely recalled from my childhood. :)

I'll be 30 in August. My friends range from mid 20s to mid 30s mostly, but there are a few that are older. Collectively, they know way more pop culture than I do, so it's usually the other way around, that someone talks to me about something on movie or TV show and I'm completely clueless. That's what made this one so odd, that in that vast pool of way-more-than-I-know, I couldn't get anyone to recognize it.

Those were awesome, awesome sketches.

Particularly the one with John Goodman.

"Da Bears! Da Bulls! Ditka! Ditka! Ditka!" I had a friend who used to do this to me a lot in the mid-90s.

I particularly remember the one where Chris Farly had to give himself a Heimlich after getting a slice of Polish Kielbasa lodged in his aorta.
