I learned that one as "light a man a fire" and then "light a man afire". :)

That works well in writing, but I leaned it verbally, and it would be easy to miss the pun when spoken.

LOL...You tell better fish stories than grandpa did in his funny hat, frying the catch...didn't have fish consultants then, but I was hungry mostly, just for the halibut. ;-)
