I give up on guessing ages. I just found out that someone I thought was between 35 and 45 is, in fact, 18. (No, not someone I saw in person or even a photo, just guessing from text.)
Crones like you, lol. I thought you were 40something, right? I have a hard time thinking of as "old" anyone who is not older than my parents, who are 64 and 67. So "crone", my left foot. ;) (Assuming you meant it in common parlance; if you meant it mystically, then claim whatever term you like :) )
I'm 52, and just survived the dreaded 50-something rite of passage, (pun intended): the colonoscopy!
being childless, creative, and recreating myself every decade or so has gone along way toward... preserving youthfulness? avoiding stagnation is perhaps more accurate.
actually, I havent felt ready for a total croning ceremony, but I did have a fairly cool "young self, meet old self" birthday circle for the big 5-0.
