I haven't read LJ in like five days, since three of them were spent driving to Montreal and back and we don't generally like being down here on the computers when enotsola's stepdad is occupying the TV, so forgive me if I skim with extreme prejudice. If I appear to have missed something you wanted me to see, please to point it out.

Speaking of Montreal, duh, he got approved for the visa. We now get to dive headfirst into logistics. No, we have not set any dates (nor locations) for either the move or the wedding. Please don't ask. More information as it happens, but don't expect anything complicated. We are not going to have "a wedding" as such.

We would, however, appreciate recommendations for custom jewelers, because we have crazy ideas about wedding rings that are not going to be solved by any conventional jewelry. (For starters, no interest in yellow gold. We were actually looking into titanium at one point, but I'm not sure it agrees with me energetically for this purpose.)

Look around for local jewelers. That's the only suggestion I can give. My mate's uncle brought a detailed picture of what he wanted for a ring for his wife as an anniversary gift where they lived and they did an excellent job.

Well, I was kind of asking for any specific names if anyone had any (e.g. someone who had made a ring for them, or themselves even, if they are jewelers, etc).

Yeah, we want to do custom rings too and still haven't found anyone after 5 months of marriage. Yow, I've been married 5 whole months! I'm a married person. Goes off to contemplate. Good luck with logistics, and welcome to the US, enotsola!

Hm, I don't think the "wire-wrap" style is really the right thing. (Rings also aren't included in the "ask me about custom work" form.) But *waves* hi! I've actually navigated it twice, once going to Canada myself, and now importing him here to the states, and won both times.

Good luck with all of it. :) It seems hard now but once over worth while I am sure. I am sure there are custom places available if nothing else check on line. You might get luck and find one close that way. Check the SCA as well.
If nothing else find a suitable substitute until you find what you want. either way congrats.
