My current workshop plans for PCon:
Friday
1:30 PM "Shamanic Perspectives on Relating with Our Blood Ancestors", Daniel Foor. Maybe. I wasn't thrilled by anything at this timeslot.
3:30 "Seeking the Center", Orion Foxwood.
7:00 "Oracles from the Living Tarot", Limerent Arts. Maybe.
9:00 onwards or something -- Green Fairy party.
Saturday
11:00 AM "The Mill of Magic", Orion Foxwood. D'oh! They moved this to a morning slot! Crud! Still, 11 isn't so evil, if I can refrain from drinking too much the night before.
1:30 PM "Black Magic and Dark Paganism", Clifford Low. Maybe.
3:30 "The Rollright Ritual", RJ Stewart. OMG YES.
7:00 "Ascension Magick", Chris Penczak. Saw this book in a store the other day and it looked kind of interesting.
9:00 onwards or something -- party that I dunno who else was invited to, so I dare not speak its name.
Sunday
1:30 PM (ahh, blessed not having to get up until noon) "Kindling Ancestral Hearths", Caitlin Matthews.
3:30 "Leland, Maddalena, Aradia, et al.", Raven Grimassi.
7:00 "Fairy Lore in British Folk Music", Kenny Klein.
9:00 "The Well of Song", Sharon Knight and Amelia Hogan.
11:00 "Sex Magick Rituals", Donald Michael Kraig. Maybe.
Monday
9:00 AM (yeah. right.) "Rebalancing Society Through Healing the Land", Andrea Boone. Now that I type that name I think I know who this is. Ugh. That makes me want to go more. *whine* 9 AM??
11:00 "The Melissa Ritual of Honeybees", Rayna Ardren Owens. This wouldn't normally be something I would think myself interested in, but it caught my eye out of this timeslot for some reason ("sparkled", if you will).
1:30 PM "Liturgy of the Lord as Steward of the Land", Fellowship of the Spiral Path.
Since I am interested in parking my car somewhere within a ten-mile radius, I figure I am going to have to show up somewhere before 11 AM on Friday, even though nothing starts until 1:30 and stated check-in isn't supposed to be until 3. Ugh. Here's me, here's me walking around and around the hotel with nothing to do.

Date: Feb. 14th, 2008 01:02 pm (UTC)From:The bees thing IS intriguing. I have been considering a beekeeping class, and hosting some hives. Sacred work, no doubt!
and what is Rollright? *intrigued*

Date: Feb. 14th, 2008 07:34 pm (UTC)From:The King Stone mentioned in that article, BTW, is where the Kingstone line of British Traditionalist Wicca (which I was initiated into but no longer practice) takes its name.
The "Rollright ritual" isn't Wicca by any means, though, it's just so named because that's where it was transmitted/performed, is my understanding. RJ Stewart was an associate/student of William Gray back in the day.

Date: Feb. 14th, 2008 04:00 pm (UTC)From:I'd be interested to hear about RJ's rollright ritual - I've been out of his loop since he left the area.
"The Melissa Ritual of Honeybees" - want to go!
I went to the website and noticed some odd offerings... I suppose "Nude Underwater Basket Weaving With Jen," could be ... interesting (for someone).

Date: Feb. 14th, 2008 05:23 pm (UTC)From:Emphasis "stated". That's usually because checkout time often gets pushed back to 1 and the folks need time to clean. I've seen checkin happening earlier in other years. I intend to be there around the same time so that, if nothing else, I can get my con checkin done and maybe help my friends with their vendor booth before the 1:30 panel.
