Spoofed in a recurring Saturday Night Live sketch in which George Wendt leads a cadre of football fans who speculate on the scores of hypothetical games pitting the Chicago Bears against other teams, with the Bears facing increasingly unlikely handicaps, such as being shrunk to the size of midgets. (Hint: Da Bears win.)
* The punch line would often be some sort of fan-geeky paradox the even the "superfans" couldn't resolve. "Who would win, Da Bears or a hurricane?" "What if the Hurricane was named "Ditka"?" "Who would win Da Bears or Da Bulls?" (Such a collision would cause the destruction of the universe, be thankful it will never happen).
I KNEW I WASN'T HALLUCINATING "Da Bullsh." "Da Bearsh." OKAY
Every time I try to explain that, no one has any idea what I am talking about. But here, I am vindicated. My brain, it has .0000043% less of the crazy.

Isn't it nice when the internet can help us remember we aren't crazy?
I went through something similar in regards to an old H.R. Puffenstuff episode I barely recalled from my childhood. :)
