Not every woman has them, no. As much as I love my nieces and nephews, being around them only enforces my desire not to have children of my own.

It's not "out there", it's in here, my office area, next to me. NOW WITH DIAPER CHANGING, fortunately on the floor rather than on one of the tables.

This was chosen as the best area for the exhibit since it's the largest non-public area, plenty of space for the sickies to keep their distance from the week-old baby. But still. AAAA

There was talk of "having the right nipple", so she wasn't being breast-fed while she was here. It's possible she might be at home, I dunno.

I do love that we don't even HAVE bottles or formula at the birth center. Just don't have 'em. Period. :)

You are too funny. I totally undrestand how that can get on your nerves though. Especially the diaper changing. Yeck! That's why there are changing stations in bathrooms. I imagine that other familiar company that might be there at present are thoroughly put off as well. Oh the mental images I am getting! It's the giggling that would grate the most I wager, though smelly baby bum proably runs a very close second...

In Alex's defence, there aren't any such changing stations in the bathrooms here, as users are not generally expected to have children with them. And it could have been a lot worse, but still.

I imagine that other familiar company that might be there at present are thoroughly put off as well.

Already wasn't there, but yes, the giggling would surely have done it well before the changing.

I work in a birth center.
Not gonna be much help here.
But maybe I'll come take the baby and steal it away from the library, at least.
