*annoyed that Yahoo openid and Dreamwidth apparently don't get along* Well, I'm using esmestrella.livejournal.com for the nonce then. I just want to sketch in a reading list so that I can remember who to track when I make an account. There is a problem, though, which is that there are people from both sides of the fandom/non-fandom divide drifting to DW. I really don't want to have a mirroring two accounts there as I do on LJ and IJ if I can help it (although granted, starlightforest.insanejournal.com doesn't see much use; I do crosspost there but I never get comments and I don't read its flist, and I've been considering deleting it). But anyway, if you've got a DW account, please to let me know the name?

Yeah, I'm crossposting a couple things for now, but given the attempted content shift and minimal starting-over, a few such posts are probably going to be all I directly mention it. With the launch and the go-ahead of the astronomy community maintainer, I'm going to be talking about *work* there, and it kind of scares me.

Someone had already started it up and posted a bit of news when I joined, so I messaged them and asked about spamming it with news stuff I get at work. It'll probably just be another news feed for those of us who watch such things, but eeeeeeeeeek it is already there and people care and stuff.
