1. First thing you wash in the shower?
Hair.

2. What color is your favorite hoodie?
Black.

3. Would you kiss the last person you kissed again?
My husband? Durrrr, yes?

4. Do you plan outfits?
Only for special occasions.

5. How are you feeling RIGHT now?
A little buzzed.

6. Whats the closest thing to you that's red?
Stripes on my voter guide pamphlet for the special election on the 19th.

7. Tell me about the last dream you remember having?
Little Severus as the darling protagonist of a line of childrens' books.

No, really.

8. Did you meet anybody new today?
Meet? Not per se. I see lots of people I don't recognize every day since I work on a college campus.

9. What are you craving right now?
Some Scotch or Irish whiskey would be nice.

10. Do you floss?
Once a day.

11. What comes to mind when I say cabbage?
Sauerkraut.

12. Are you emotional?
I don't think so.

13. Have you ever counted to 1,000?
I don't think so.

14. Do you bite into your ice cream or just lick it?
Lick to get the drips off and then I start biting.

15. Do you like your hair?
No. It's frizzy-wavy and is a stupid brown colour, and in the last few years has turned excessively dry and split-endy.

16. Do you like yourself?
No.

17. Would you go out to eat with George W.Bush?
Ugh, no.

18. What are you listening to right now?
Sound of my dad's air conditioner through the open window; Iron Chef Japan.

19. Are your parents strict?
Not a very meaningful question since I'm 30, but when I was a teenager, yes, I would say so.

20. Would you go sky diving?
No. Hang-gliding, yes.

21. Do you like cottage cheese?
Yes.

22. Have you ever met a celebrity?
Define that. Wil Wheaton? Joel Hodgson? Trace Beaulieu?

23. Do you rent movies often?
Very rarely.

24. Is there anything sparkly in the room you're in?
Are you kidding? Have you seen my bedroom? Is there ever not? (partly because I have sparkly buttons on my purse...)

25. How many countries have you visited?
Visited? One: Canada. I don't think one can be said to have visited the country one was born and lives in (US).

26. Have you made a prank phone call?
Once, in sixth grade.

27. Ever been on a train?
Yes. I used to take the train back and forth between Sacramento and Santa Clara a few times a year, and more recently I've been known to go from Millbrae to San Francisco.

28. Brown or white eggs?
Free range and/or organic. We tend to have brown ones in our house.

29.Do you have a cell-phone?
Not one of my own. My husband and I share a bare-bones pre-paid one.

30. Do you use chap stick?
Yes, various kinds stashed in my purse, by the bed, by the computer...

31. Do you own a gun?
No.

32. Can you use chop sticks?
Yes, although not like someone who grew up with them.

33. Who are you going to be with tonight?
Uh, what?

34. Are you too forgiving?
Er... how would I know?

35. Ever been in love?
Yes.

36. What is your best friend(s) doing tomorrow?
Playing WoW probably.

37. Ever have cream puffs?
I don't think so, actually.

38. Last time you cried?
Very sad/happy/poignant Severus/Lily comic earlier today.

39. What was the last question you asked?
(beats me...)

40. Favorite time of the year?
I have always loved Autumn, but here in upstate NY, the Spring is a strong contender.

41. Do you have any tattoos?
Yes, two: connect-the-dots of the constellation Draco on my belly (no connection to anything fannish; it hails from 2000) and a secret name on the back of my neck.

42. Are you sarcastic?
Oh, heavens no!

43. Have you ever seen The Butterfly Effect?
No.

44. Ever walked into a wall?
I've grazed corners with shoulders, but not straight into. I've walked right into a pole-mounted sign and smacked it into my cheekbone, though.

45. Favorite color?
Emerald green, violet, silver, black.

46. Have you ever slapped someone?
Yes.

47. Is your hair curly?
It's an icky sort of lame frizzy wave. If I wash it and do nothing to it at all while it dries, some strands of it coil into spiral curls.

48. What was the last CD you bought?
Hell, I have no idea. I don't buy much music.

49. Do looks matter?
Um, yes?

51. Is your phone bill sky high?
No, especially since my husband now lives here instead of in Canada, but even then I was using 10-10 numbers to keep the cost down.

52. Do you like your life right now?
My life? Yes, I suppose. I'd rather not be living in my parents' house, but local expenses pretty much preclude any other choice.

53. Do you sleep with the T.V. on?
No.

54. Can you handle the truth?
About what?

55. Do you have good vision?
Very nearsighted, but not as much as my husband or mother, who are both worse as well as astigmatic in both eyes (whereas I am only astigmatic in one).

56. Do you hate or dislike more than 3 people?
Er... I dunno? I don't spend much time thinking about people I may not like, and I don't usually work up to "hate" for anyone.

57. How often do you talk on the phone?
Very rarely, mostly only when necessary for work.

58. The last person you held hands with?
Um... I'm not at liberty to say. A few of you may know whom I'm talking about.

59. What are you wearing?
Black jeans, black socks, Cure t-shirt.

60.What is your favorite animal?
Crows, probably.

61. Where was your default icon picture taken?
It's not a photo, so... yeah.

62. Can you hula hoop?
Only a little. I pretty much suck.

63. Do you have a job?
Yes.

64. What was the most recent thing you bought?
Salad for lunch.

65. Have you ever crawled through a window?
Yes, and in fact, I've done so for one of the common reasons implied by this question, which is to hide from someone's parents because we were doing something we shouldn't have been doing in his bedroom. Ahem.

His own! He was the main character. They were the sort of "learn a gentle life lesson" books that are often written in series intended for ages 5-8 or so. One of them was about him being afraid of the light the way most kids are afraid of the dark. The dream involved illustrations, which I was seeing animated like he was also a cartoon show character or something. The one about him being afraid of light had someone snuggling him and (of course, my favourite) pushing hair out of his eyes and him smiling shyly.

Damn, I wish I could draw better. I would seriously do a little illustrated story of that. It just sounds so damn cute!
