It rained a teeny bit on Saturday and has been raining a good bit of today, about five hours in various strengths (generally none of these passing showers here; if it gets up the gumption to rain at all, it tends to keep going for a while) and OMG IT SMELLS SO GOOD OUT THERE.
Keep in mind this is the first real rain in oh... five? six? months. But that's how it rolls around here. We may get a couple wet days in September but mostly you shouldn't expect rain until at least Halloween. (We tend to an "Indian summer".)
(Note to weather: Please to keep to this time of year being mostly dry on the 24th-27th, though. Camping in the rain = do not want.)
but YAY RAIN SMELL
