cataloging a programming book:
"Groovy and Grails"?
I can only assume this is some cousin of the strange (to me) phrase "Ruby on Rails", but seriously, people. Ya gotta keep coming up with names like this?
(Also, now picturing some weird [weirder?] 70s-themed remake of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which is a bit odd considering the movie is from 1975 anyway.)

Groovy is an object-oriented programming language for the Java platform as an alternative to the Java programming language. It is a dynamic language with features similar to those of Python, Ruby, Perl, and Smalltalk. It can be used as a scripting language for the Java Platform.
Grails, however, is done to introduce Rails-like stuff into Groovy. :-)
