enotsola got one o' dem dere backlit keyboards that does rainbow colors. His old (~12 years?) Logitech kb decided yesterday to simultaneously break its volume wheel thingy and to be "on" and lighting its single-color white backlight + mini LCD screen (possibly directly related to one another in terms of electrical connections) even when the computer was off (which is possible because it was plugged into one of those USB ports that lets you e.g. charge a phone even when shut down), and this combined with previous failure in the numpad area and yadda yadda was the straw to the camel, as it were. And, well, my jealousy knows some bounds, but it's tapping on the inside of them pretty insistently right now.enotsola got one o' dem dere backlit keyboards that does rainbow colors. Date: Nov. 27th, 2017 07:33 pm (UTC)From:I think it's this: https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/product/rgb-gaming-keyboard-g910 We went into Best Buy on Saturday in search of something else, and it was on sale for umm... $80 or something instead of pushing $200 (Amazon ferex is selling it for $89.99 on a claimed list price of $179.99). I dunno how well reviewed it is in general and he's only had it a couple of days, so. It's not super-clicky as "mechanical" might imply, but I don't know if it comes in multiple models of keytouch like the comparable Razer chroma does.
