The Emperor Norton Academy near Portland, WA is Concordia’s premiere educational institute for faerie lore and Kithain heritage.

1. Portland, WA? not OR? Is there even any such place? (I tried Googling it but it keeps assuming I mean Oregon. There are a bunch of Portlands in the US, but none in Washington, it would seem.) I suppose it could just be a fictional place, but usually they use real city names.
2. Emperor Norton not in San Francisco? wat? Maybe the freeholder came from there.
3. Is someone I know responsible for this?
(also: aw man. the same page has a "Page XX" thing. I assume that's not meant as a deliberate callback?)

Hence my wondering if someone I knew is responsible, since I wouldn't put it past one of the partners of one of the writers (whom I am acquainted with) to try to get him to slip something like that in.
