There was just an undercooked bean in my microwave taco bowl. UNDERcooked. How can you get undercooked anything in a microwave meal??

Maybe it was dried out in an awkward way that made it taste undercooked?

No, definitely partly uncooked texture. You can tell. (My experiments cooking dried beans in our Instant Pot and trying to get liquid level and length of time right have given me some examples.) But the point was TV dinners are usually pretty mushy, whatever they are.
