Of all the (increasingly frequent) times I've found myself going "brain, why did you transpose those two letters?", I gotta say that "crobboli" (for broccoli) is a pretty fun one.
Eh, I'm not dyslexic, or at least I never have been before (is it possible to develop it after age 40?). I've been chalking it up to general aging, heh.
Recently I was startled to learn that it was possible to develop a neurodivergent/neurological disorder later in life for various reasons, most of which were related to brain injury, but could also be brought on even by emotional/mental trauma.
And then, upon finding that out, it made an obvious level of sense in hindsight that almost made me face-palm.
Also, it occurs to me that I might have gotten the term wrong? It wouldn't surprise me. I know there are other names for getting other things switched around. Like, I think dyslexia may only have to do with visually switching letters around? Another term I've heard is dyspraxia, but I can't remember what that particular bit of switchery is.
