Yeah, I only managed to get chapters 13, 15, and 16 of Clone Wars on tape this time. 14 I knew I missed because the power went out that day. But grr. I hate missing bits of a story like that. Whoever it was (was it on ratmm?) who said they thought the Clone Wars cartoons were better than Episodes I and II put together, I tend to agree.

also worth considering:

if you have quicktime pro, you can download the episodes as complete self-contained quicktime movies at cartoonnetwork.com; that's how i made my "commentary" track. I actually had to get chapter 1 this way for the first run, as my EyeTV fritzed and didn't record it no less than FOUR TIMES...but generally speaking i try to avoid that approach becausethe EyeTV encodes at twice the resolution of what they put on cartoonnetwork.com. Still, better than nothing...

Or, not. >_< Quicktime Pro, you said, which I don't have. Normally I can make do by viewing source and finding the proper EMBED tag, but the links appear to be dynamically constructed with javascript, so it's not a straightforward thing I can cut and paste into a quick and dirty HTML page which I can easily right-click. I was annoyed that I couldn't even view them streaming, for some reason - maybe the server's overloaded? It just sat there going "loading..." for a bazillion years, which is pretty abnormal at work unless something's wrong on the other end. Bleh.
