Bla! I need a new name!

It needs to be suitable to use on pagan/magic/witchcraft lists/ngs, goth lists/ngs, and somewhat more generic lists/ngs like those related to the study of entheogens and my fan ng's for space ghost and MST3K. I used --prism-- for a while in the past and the current one (Dronarron) just ain't doing it - it works ok in pagan places but sounds silly elsewhere.

I've considered just eristic (which is my domain) or Maenad (which is my Discordian holy name) or recently firefly, but the problem is that it has to also fit me as well as just be suitable to use in all those places without sounding silly. I use stardragon on the only board I post regularly on (I've created random things for other boards that I only post to like once - Asanzi, stardotstar, prisma which obviously is related to prism...), but that doesn't really work either, in fact, if anything it's too "otherkin". Nor am I really inclined to use my other email address (tifereth, aka Tiphereth as in the Qabala sephiroth, spelled so as to fit within 8 letters) or old BBS handles (mousie, azrael, lifitz). Any suggestions, or advice on where to look or what areas of life to think on? i.e. look at the dictionary or thesaurus, try a plant name, maybe something taken from technology, etc...

Find words whose meanings you like, then grab the thesaurus. Read inspirational material. Listen to inspirational music. Create anagrams. Play with gematria. Free-associate with keyboard (or pen) in hand. Listen to the wind. Drink too much coffee. Ask people on your LiveJournal. Ask people on the bus. Ask the voices in your head. Dip spiders' legs in ink, then set them on paper to see what they write. Scream, record the sound, then play it back and transcribe it. Bang your head against a wall. And then, finally, when you've been up all night, when your brain has been consigned to the Outer Darkness Where They Don't Even Get Dial-Up Service and you've exhausted all of these options and still haven't found the name, reconcile yourself to being stuck with whatever your zombie-animated hands wind up typing at 5:23 am.

(I mean, d'you think I chose devafall? It's what I wound up with after following that exact procedure. Funny, eh?)
