You know, now that I've actually started to get into the "networking" aspect of LiveJournal, I'm really finding it quite rewarding. I like being able to have some contact with people I know and keep up on their thoughts a bit without the pressure of one-on-one email or chat (except for the very closest people, I really crumble in one-on-one situations), nor the inconvenience of having to wade through stuff on a mailing list where it might not be said anyway because it might be off topic, nor having to check a bunch of bookmarks. I mean, what a cool concept.

And of course, that means thanks to arhuaine, darkleaves, devafall, digitalsidhe, enotsola, fenwickrysen, glitterychaos, gremliness, illuviel, rialian, sajin, shishain, tiggrrl, tyrsalvia, unseelie, veedub, wildelf, windtree, and zaecus for providing me with so much interesting stuff to read. I only hope reading my entries has been as satifying.

[Edited: oops! I used my "friend of" list rather than "friends" when I wrote that last night - so I've corrected it now to give more credit where more credit was due. ^_^]

Well, yes. And the lack of pressure thing is definitely wonderful. you can keep up with people and still get stuff done without having them wonder where you got off to or having to save email on your machine.

I do have about 50 comments to decide on response for, though. x_X

And Tass, I love reading your posts. Even if I didn't, I would get an earful from Zaecus. He loves things that spark good conversation or can just make you think. Your posts have a lot of that. I also agree that I keep coming back just see you beautiful icons.
