It makes my modly life easier on
otherkin, for one thing, because even if someone's journal is all friends-locked, I can still see if they actually have any use history, since the number of entries and comments displays in their profile. But dude. I totally didn't notice how I'd passed seven years. I tend to think of my anniversary as being in May because some years ago there was a time when LJ had a lot of downtime and they gave all the paid users a free month or something. I'm also surprised that I'm nearing 3000 posts, which works out to more than one per day, since I know that on the average I now tend to 5+ days between entries (
esmestrella having swallowed a lot of my life in the last year and a half).
