the glitter contacts cost $85-90 per lens, according to my optometrist. that's really not the range of frivolous expense i can justify, massively cool as it would be to have sparkly eyes. he said that he had fitted some teenagers with them already (i guess the targeting of the website worked). those are some teenagers with some rich (or very indulgent) parents, i tellya.

WHen I checked online contact-lens suppliers, they seemed to be running more like $45 per lens.

Hmm, that's much better, something I would actually be willing to pay, were I at a point where I had $100 laying around begging to be spent. Heh. Do you have any specific references, or should I just plug like "contact lens online order" into google?
