Having a crisis of name again. I knew it wouldn't last. Longest they ever stick is about three months. Grrr. I just can't find a name that I both like, and is multipurpose.
I don't mean tass (I don't need to change user name) or the thing in the "name" field in the personal info (which I would change at will anyway, just for the amusement). I'm talking about the same thing I went through a while back, where I was trying yet again to settle on a net nickname that was not my real name (which you are welcome to call me), that could function equally well on my pagan mailing lists as on alt.gothic.fashion and rec.arts.tv.mst3k.misc, and also work well for just general correspondence when I don't want to use my real name (i.e., stuff that isn't business transactions of some sort). Oh, all that and I have to like it, too, it has to fit me.
I've been at this for ummm about 10 years (ever since I started chatting on BBSs in high school and had to think up handles) and still haven't hit on anything I could really stick with. It's just evilness.
