2. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW
Mostly The Underworld Initiation by RJ Stewart, and also some sabbatic/chaos/black magic sorts of booklets by Michael Ford, from Succubus Publishing.
3. WHAT'S ON YOUR MOUSE PAD?
My mouse? Oh, you mean the design. At work it's just plain, flat grey. At home, a print of a Peter Pracownik (sp?) work which I think is called "Earth Dragon".
4. FAVORITE BOARD GAME?
I really haven't played any board games in forever (except a game of Monopoly a few years ago in which I was a sore loser, like I always am), so I can't say that I like any one more than another.
5. FAVORITE MAGAZINE?
Uh. The Cauldron? I don't read many magazines, either.
6. FAVORITE SMELL?
Dampmossyforest. Violets. Patchouli, vetivert, sandalwood. Natural peppermint (as in, the plant). Sun on an herb garden. "New-mown hay" (every time I have smelled this it was never actually hay that had been cut). Bread dough. Onions being sauteed.enotsola. Dark chocolate. Baked apples. Vanilla. Musk.
6b. LEAST FAVORITE SMELL?
Cat litter boxes. The local landfill and water treatment plant. Meat scraps left to rot in the trash for a few days when it's 80 degrees inside.

Hammered dulcimer.enotsola's singing. Windchimes, especially bamboo chimes. Electric bass, especially when it's really twangy and funky. Taiko drumming.
8. WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD?
Being left out. Being run away from just to be mean rather than from fear. Being forgotten.
9. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING?
My body moves in the morning, but I don't think I wake up until afternoon sometime.
10. FAVORITE COLOR?
The glowing blue-violet of certain glowsticks. Blue-violet and purple in general. Black with silver and gold sparkles. Green.
11. HOW MANY RINGS BEFORE YOU ANSWER THE PHONE?
At work, as quickly as I can manage to get to it. At home, I never answer the phone because it is always, always for my mother.
12. FUTURE CHILD'S NAME?
There will not be any children.
13. WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE?
Never having to wonder where your next meal is coming from or whether you will still have a roof over your head next month. Being able to know this for more than just a week or two into the future.

Yargh. I really don't know.
15. CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA?
Chocolate or vanilla what? (it makes a difference, you know)
16. DO YOU LIKE TO DRIVE FAST?
No. I'm a relatively timid driver. I never go more than about 72 miles an hour and usually am driving more around 68.
17. DO YOU SLEEP WITH A STUFFED ANIMAL?
No. I have some, but they're not in the bed.
18. STORMS - COOL OR SCARY?
Depends on whether there's thunder and lightning involved. Without (as most storms are out here), they're cool, although I'm not fond of power outages. With, my jury is still out. I've never been that bothered by thunder, but I've only recently gotten over the conviction that to be outside during a storm is to definitely be hit by lightning. I'm not really scared of it anymore, but I still would prefer to be inside. I can't stand out there going "whooooaaaa, this is soooo coooool!!"
19. WHAT TYPE WAS YOUR FIRST CAR?
Toyota Corolla SR5, the same one I'm driving now. The first car I ever drove was my mother's old Plymouth, but it was my mother's old Plymouth.
20. IF YOU COULD MEET ONE PERSON DEAD OR ALIVE?
I don't know any of the names of the members of Dead or Alive so this is kind of a silly question, ain't it?
21. FAVORITE DRINK?
Flavoured sparkling water. Sake. Some of the Jones sodas. Mead. Some kinds of beer. Coca-cola (I am not a Pepsi person). Lemonade. Tea with plenty of milk.

23. DO YOU EAT THE STEMS OF BROCCOLI?
I've wondered WTF this question is all about every time I've seen it on these survey things. Yes, I do, but who the fuck cares, and why is it supposed to be at all interesting?
24. IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY JOB YOU WANTED WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Magazine layout editor or graphic designer. Something in technical theatre (e.g. set design). Painter or illustrator. Independently wealthy so I could spend my life trying to do something magical and/or spiritual rather than having to work.
25. IF YOU COULD DYE YOUR HAIR ANY COLOR?
A much brighter, more vibrant purple than it is (I have to keep it dark to look respectable at my job). Black with streaks of many different colours in it. Black with blue and purple streaks.
26. EVER BEEN IN LOVE?
I think the answer to #1 answers this one as well.
27. IS THE GLASS HALF EMPTY OR HALF FULL?
If I was just filling it, then it's half full. If I was drinking it, it's half empty. If I came across one just sitting there, I would wonder where my mother gets off wanting my dad and I to put our dishes in the dishwasher if she just leaves hers out on the countertop, half-drunk.

29. DO YOU TYPE WITH YOUR FINGERS ON THE RIGHT KEYS?
No, but I do type very fast. I guess I have evolved my own slightly different system for which fingers hit which keys. I hit the spacebar almost exclusively with my right thumb, rather than with either, and as a result, all my keyboards have a smooth space worn on the rightmost part of the spacebar.
30. WHAT'S UNDER YOUR BED?
A lot of crap. Extra blankets and pillows. A Nintendo 64. A big scrap of black velvet. A blacklight fixture. Some clothing I've forgotten about, probably. A package of tea-lights.

I was the only child in my first-grade class to ever turn in any assignments done by word-processor and printed on a printer. I used Quick Brown Fox for the Commodore 64 and we had a 9-pin dot matrix printer.

Ermm... probably here in the Bay area, even though it's massively expensive.
