is anyone else disturbed/annoyed by the various "non-ugly" sorts of comunities? (whether general, faery, etc.)
or is this just a "well, you're just too ugly to make it, so of course you don't like it" thing?

We live in a society based on insecurity, which drives people to extremes to seek some sort of validation.
I'm not disturbed exactly, but at the risk of sounding like I hold myself superior, I just sort of shake my head and move along. It isn't superiority as much as honest bafflement, not at the phenom but at the lengths people will go.
