Jeremy van Wert, of all people, popped up in my dream last night. That name means nothing to any of you, I'm sure (possibly ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
richpizor might recognize it at an outside chance, but I doubt it); he's someone I went to elementary, junior high, and senior high school with. In the third grade I had a crush on him and I think round about fourth grade he possibly did on me, although I remember from my diary of the time (!) writing about how I was so over him (essentially) - rather amusing in retrospect.
Anyway, in the dream I was walking outside my high school at night, and he and a friend (a dream extra) got out of a car at a stop light in front of the school. In age he was probably about how he looked in high school, which makes sense, as the last time I ever saw him was a freak encounter at the local Psychic Eye bookstore somewhenin the two years after high school when I was going to De Anza no, actually it had to have been sometime between 1997-2000 because now I specifically remember being visiting at home from Sac at the time.
His attire was bizarre, some weird 80s concoction that I'm not sure is accurate. He had the buzzed blond hair that he always had, a pair of dangly gold cross earrings, a white t-shirt layered under some kind of open button-down shirt (lavender? light green?), a skinny black tie that was loose at the neck, blue jeans... not sure if he was wearing his characteristic Converse hi-tops or not (in high school he had some that were fluorescent orange).
It was just so odd. I have no idea where that bit of dream came from.
