Drinking style
Cerebral Virgos are compelled to impose order onto their bender. Their famously fussy quest for purity could lead to drinking less than other signs, sure -- but it could also lead to drinking booze neat, to sucking down organic wine or just to brand loyalty. They rarely get fully shellacked -- but, oh, when they do! Virgo's controlled by the intellect, but there's an unbridled beast lurking within, and they let it loose when walloped. It's dead sexy (and surprisingly unsloppy). As one Virgo friend used to declare, "I'm going to drink myself into a low level of intelligence tonight." A toast to the subgenius IQ!

Trademark cocktails
Many Virgos prefer clear, simple, untreacly drinks like vodka tonic or a real margarita, though you'll find 'em drinking anything -- from unflinchingly downing Cuervo straight to smirkingly ordering a dirty virgin. They also tend to like bitter, low-alk guzzles like Campari and soda. They rarely change their drink once they've found it, however.

I'm amused by this, mainly because it's pretty dead-on. I really don't do the complex, fruity cocktail thing. I really do prefer to drink alcohol neat (as anyone who's seen me with a glass of pure Tully or Bombay Sapphire can testify), or simple mixes (e.g. gin and tonic, rum and Coke). I tend to get fond of one particular drink or liquor and drink that for a while. I do change around, but during any given period of time (e.g. several months), I'm usually sticking to the same thing. I'm not sure if the "unbridled beast" in there is really "dead sexy", but it's true that I sometimes do drink purposely to let it out and not be so intellectual. It's sort of the inverse of where people drink to get "numb" and drown feelings... in my case, it would be drinking in order to let those feelings out.

Interesting. The Taurus description seems off to me, but the list of drink types is not: I adore good mudslides, routinely stock sweets (mead, jameson's irish mist, barenjager, wild turkey honey liquour, o'mara's irish cream wine, etc.), and my standard drink is myers dark and pepsi (although I'll drink reasonable variations on that), and I do like irish coffee made with jameson's or an irish cream.

The gemini description fits my behaviour better, but not my taste in drinks - although I do like a black and tan occasionally. (Gemini is my rising sign, and has a few other things that strengthen it in my chart.)
