.PAST
-first grade teacher's name: Mrs. Fox
-last words you said: "Data corrupt or something, I don't know." (Said to student whose floppy disk wasn't working)
-last song you sang: Emerald Rose's version of "Star of the County Down", with tape in car while driving to work.
-last thing you laughed at: "Would you like to be on the waiting list" mentioned in earlier post.
-last time you cried: Actually? Hrm... no instance comes to mind. Got a little teary in "Star of the County Down", actually, but not really cried.

.PRESENT.
-what's in your cd player: Nothing
-what color socks are you wearing: Oatmeal (variegated beiges)
-what's under your bed: A whole bunch of crap, including: spare blankets and pillows. A Nintendo 64. A package of tea lights. A blacklight. A tent and tarp.
-what time did you wake up today: about 11:00

.FUTURE.
-what is your career going to be: Career?
-where are you going to live: Depends how far in the future. In the near future, Kitchener-ish. In the further future I may go to BC or even come back here to California.
-how many kids do you want: Zero, which works out well considering I had a tubal ligation.
-what kind of car will you drive: Most likely a Sentra or another Corolla, if I can ever get it worked out how to test drive either one without exposing myself to risk via my insurance not covering that activity.

.CURRENT. (how is this different from "present"?)
-current hair: Just had hacked on Tuesday, now down to shoulderblades, parted in the middle, extremely faded purple which hasn't been dyed since October.
-current clothes: Grey longsleeve, buttoned shirt with black velvet collar, black jeans, black Docs, black bra and underpants, aforementioned oatmeal socks.
-current jewelry: Plain silver me-and-[livejournal.com profile] enotsola ring on middle finger of left hand, silver sevenstar pendant on silver chain, steel barbell with fuschia glitter ball-ends through tongue.
-current annoyance: The quarter isn't quite over yet.
-current smell: None
-current longing: [livejournal.com profile] enotsola
-current desktop picture: The cover artwork from the Cure album Seventeen Seconds, in reversed colours so it is black and cyan rather than white and reddish.
-current favorite music artist: Weird Al and the Cure have long shared this particular crown. My music favourites are not something that change very often.
-current book: RJ Stewart, Underworld Initiation, Ronald Hutton, The Triumph of the Moon.
-current worry: That CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada) will say "fuck you, Yankee."
-current hate: I really don't think that I feel that emotion very often, if at all, and not right now in any event.

-story behind your username: Two things simultaneously: Short form of name of fox-pixy-being I once thought I once was (not sure whether I was or wasn't, now); long form has been forgotten. Also from the term from Mage: the Ascension for an object or substance that is a physical embodiment of Quintessence (e.g. water from a fountain on a Node). No relation to "Tassadar Protoss High Templar" what/whoever that is, as some have thought.
-current favorite article of clothing: Mrf... no favourite.
-favorite physical feature on a guy: Face, overall build. (I prefer them scrawny, and though I profess to like those who are of similar height to myself, I also seem to have attraction for those notably taller.)
-one person you wish was here right now: [livejournal.com profile] enotsola
-line from the last thing you wrote to someone: "Reserves are properly cutting off to 4 pm tomorrow, but normal items are wrapping around to the next open date." Really personal, huh? Email sent to co-worker and supervisor.
-i am happiest when: [livejournal.com profile] enotsola and I are together. We don't have to be doing anything in particular; the universe just seems to order itself when we're in physical proximity, and like Fenchurch sitting in that coffee shop, I get a sense of "oh! Well that's all right then."
-i feel lonely when: A lot of the time, actually.
-do you think too much: Yes, especially at 4 am when I really should be sleeping.
-if you could live anywhere in the world, where: I like living here in terms of the climate and flora, but not the expense. Can I have somewhere where the spring, summer and autumn are all mild, and there is some snow in the winter but not frozen over for four months (what, and she's moving to Canada? Well, there's a difference between what I would really really like if I had my druthers, and what I am okay with), and I can live decently on $30,000 a year?
-famous person you have met: None I can think of, though I kind of two-degrees missed a Robin Williams sighting once. (He came in to the Roseville location of Dimple Records while I was living in Sacramento and my then-boyfriend was working at the Sacramento location.)

-do you have any regrets: Yes, but I'd rather not discuss them.
-favorite coffee: I don't drink enough coffee to really have a favourite blend, or anything. For some reason, Starbucks' coffee makes me really jittery and gives me a sour stomach, but Tim Hortons' doesn't.
-favorite smell: Lots of them. Damp earth in a forest. Vanilla. Cardamom. Musk.
-what makes you mad: Blerg.. I'd rather not think about it.
-favorite way to waste time: Re-watching MST3K episodes
-what is your best quality: Dependable
-are you currently in love/lust: Yes.
-what's the craziest thing you have ever done: Erm... participated in an "evangelical" reading of the Prophecy of Phoenix from the Werewolf: the Apocalypse book, on the steps of the library, to "combat" a more conventional bunch of shouting from some random Christian? (this was when I was going to De Anza as a student. I was the book stand.)
-any bad habits: Cracking my knuckles.
-do you find it hard to trust people: Yes. In fact I think I mistrust almost everyone, in the sense that I figure they would have no problems hurting me if they got the chance, and might even go out of their way to do so.
-last thing you bought yourself: Some hair dye and translucent powder from Amphigory
-bath or shower: shower
-favorite season: Spring, I think.
-favorite color: Glowing blue-violet.
-favorite time of day: After the sun has gone below the horizon, but before it's completely dark.
-gold or silver: silver
-any secret crushes: No.

.FASHION.
-how many coats and jackets do you own: Threeish. One long wool coat, one leather jacket, one black zip-up hoodie. Whether that last is a jacket is the "ish".
-do you wear a watch: No, though I do own one; it's currently sitting on my file cabinet at home. Mostly used just for traveling, when I want to know how much longer until we land, and that sort of thing.
-favorite pants color: Favourite pants colour? What a question. All of my pants are black, except for one pair of blue jeans that are worn as "grubbies" (e.g. working on the car).
-most expensive item of clothing: Either my leather jacket, or my custom corset from Gallery Serpentine (which I have never really worn except to try on, for a number of reasons). Both were $200+ but I can't now remember exactly how much.
-most treasured: I dunno if I "treasure" any of my clothing.

.YOUR FRIENDS.
-do your friends know you: I can't say that I really have friends, in the plural. I have a bunch of acquaintances. I guess I would say [livejournal.com profile] enotsola knows me.
-what do they tend to be like: taking this as "the people I know" (see previous answer), they tend to be geeky, intelligent, dynamic, magical.
-can you count on them: No idea. See above about it not being an actual "friend" relationship in most cases.
-can they count on you: I should think so. Even people I have no emotional attachment to can count on me, if I've said I would do something.

.LAST.
-last book you read: Completely? Doreen Valiente, Witchcraft for Tomorrow.
-last movie you saw: The last movie I watched any of, excluding MST3K, was The Robe, one of the big 50s epics set in ancient Rome, Greece or Egypt that my mom is so fond of.
-last movie you saw on the big screen: Pirates of the Caribbean
-last show you watched on tv: MST3K. Last currently running show was a bit of Inuyasha last night on Cartoon Network.
-last song you heard: "Star of the County Down"
-last thing you had to drink: Water
-last thing you ate: a chocolate truffle
-last time you showered: Uhh... this past Saturday, although my hair was washed when I had it cut on Tuesday.
-last person you hugged: Erm... [livejournal.com profile] enotsola
-last person you talked to online: The same
-last person you talked to on the phone: Khanh, one of our student employees.

.DO YOU.
-do drugs: I occasionally partake in some substances but I certainly don't characterize this as "yeah, I do drugs"
-drink: yes
-sleep with stuffed animals: no
-have a dream that keeps coming back: Several, actually. Not the exact same dream every time, but I have a few themes that tend to repeat themselves.
-play an instrument? I can make a piano make the right noises. I no longer know how to make basic major chords or play a major scale on the guitar. I can generally make a flute, trumpet and clarinet make their characteristic sounds, but I know nothing about the fingering of any of them.
-believe there is life on other planets: yes
-read the newspaper: occasionally
-have any gay or lesbian friends: yes
-believe in miracles: yes.
-consider yourself tolerant: yes
-consider police a friend or foe: Hrm... kind of neutral.
-like the taste of alcohol: What, like the burning sensation of Everclear? Not really. If you mean do I go "ew, I can taste the alcohol in this", then no, I don't do that, so I guess that means yes, I like the taste of alcohol.
-have a favorite stooge: uh. no.
-believe in astrology: I wouldn't say I "believed in" it, like it was some kind of religion or something, but I do think it has some applicability.
-believe in magic: yes
-pray: If we take the word to mean "do I ask a higher power for help with something", then yes, occasionally.
-go to church: no
-have any secrets: yes
-have any pets: The dog that lives in my house is not my pet.
-go or plan to attend college: No, I already graduated. Might some day get a masters, but I don't know.

-have any tattoos: line drawing of constellation Draco on my lower belly, a word of secret significance on the back of my neck
-hate yourself: yes
-wish on stars: sometimes
-like your handwriting: no
-believe in witches: yes, since they're people and not some kind of supernatural critter
-believe in ghosts: without getting too particular about the definition, yes
-believe in santa: yes, but in a psychological construct kind of way
-believe in the easter bunny: ditto
-believe in the tooth fairy: ditto
-have a second family: no
