I just purchased what will likely be the only one-way plane ticket in my life (unless enotsola and I do in fact wind up moving to BC someday). I feel good. (Sunny 22/72-degree weather doesn't hurt, either.)
I know I should be happy for you, and in many ways I am. But I can't help being so very selfish and thinking what a loss it is to the US west coast otherkin community that you will be leaving! To be completely honest, ever since I joined the elven-realities community five years ago I was kind of drawn to you because of you wisdom and personality. Then, when I found out you lived so close I thought it was even cooler, perhaps we could get together and hang out. All in all, I saw you as a leader in the otherkin community. Having experience and insight and knowege where I didn't. SO it is very sad for me to see you leave this area. Luckily you won't be leaving the online community.
But none the less I am happy that you will finally be with your beloved. That is what really matters. It's a big change for you. I hope everything works out for the best!
