Just had a really odd dream. I was helping some undertaker move a coffin with a dead person around - it was on a strange kind of rotating gurney, and we were just rolling it around some room? warehouse? garage? and then down the sidewalk of a street I don't recognize as being one in particular, but which looked generally like streets do around here. He told me that "they" had "captured" the guy's "fae and fetch" from him. I asked how they knew they had anything at all, and if they did, how they knew they were his. I forget the answer to that. Later I was in my own garage where there are still some boxes with just a few bits of packing material, and how I got the idea that said spirits were in one of the boxes I don't know, but I picked one of them up and felt around inside. I didn't feel anything (except the bits of bubble wrap) but I seemed to know that something was there, so I "poured" the contents into myself from one of the corners. I felt a kind of pressure in my chest and upper gut, and dropped to my knees.

I think I must have gotten disturbed by a sound or something because I don't remember any more after this, and I can't figure out how this connects to a second fragment I remember, which involved ahrilseen face-on, in a dark red light behind her with a lighter, more yellow-colourless but not intense light on her face (as though I were seeing her lit by a computer screen displaying something pale yellow). She seemed to be thinking about or arranging some things (like sorting files, although that wasn't it), interacting with the computer by just thinking, rather than typing. Something to do with putting content on her website, I think, though.

It's a shame I woke up when I did, because I was just about to try to find out what animal or whatever had gotten inside me in the first dream-bit. (Hm, now that I think about it, I felt a bit more lucid then than I usually do in dreams. There was a definite sense of wanting to do so on purpose, rather than it just playing out like a movie.) I wonder also about the implications of taking in a fetch spirit that supposedly belongs to someone else, but I never did find out who the dead person actually was, so (for example) it could have been a physical or spiritual ancestor of mine, which isn't so weird (more symbolic of a bloodline than literal possession of the same spirit). Then again, I wonder if the whole thing was at all real, or just brain-junk. I'm not sure I've ever had an actual spiritual dream, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Maybe if I even have to ask, then it isn't.

Hmm. 9:45 California time is 6:45 my time. I was just waking up to put Eldest on the school bus, so you may very well have caught me "sorting files" while still asleep just before. I do have quite few illustrations in my head for things on the site that I need to get out onto illustration board, so your dream is quite plausible if you were accessing my dreamspace via the linkweb. Perhaps you wanted to ask me a question about the spirits?

Eh, I dunno. I'm inclined to think that part, at least, was mostly "brain junk". You pop up in my dreams every now and again, over the last six months to a year or so. I dunno what I would ask. It's not enough details to go on (not to mention not having enough personal experience with me and my background) for you to be able to say yea or nay, I would think.
