Off in a few minutes to an interview at San Jose State. Thursday I have to show up at 8:25 AM at the Fremont Union High School Distrct (ugh!). Stanford said they would be making hiring decisions this week for the position I interviewed for on the 13th, but I don't know if they would call me to say "sorry" or only if they selected me. Also applied yesterday for three positions at UC Berkeley, which is a place I hadn't heretofore considered, but their online application system makes it hard (read: impossible; I would have had to apply for all three on separate days) to tailor your resume to showcase different things for different positions, and all three were past "freshness date" anyway, so I don't hold out a lot of hope. (Also Berkeley would be a pain - forget driving there; I would have to move, but I would surely wind up driving for at least a little while.)
Still haven't heard from Sunnyvale Public Library, which all things considered is the job I actually want among all the ones I've applied for so far. By the calendar it's been 11 days since closing date, but today is only the fifth business day, so *crosses fingers*.
