Most custom corsetry is in the range of $250-400, is why I was dubious.

You probably would anyway, as I have a plain black satin one I was planning to use in one of my "party"-type outfits for PCon. I guess the question is "do I need another of a very similar style?" I suppose this is no question at all as it is like asking "do I really need X pairs of boots?" *chuckles*

If you're going to buy a corset, don't buy one off ebay. There are plenty of local corset makers.
